Frequently Asked Questions:

How often should I plan to come to therapy?

We can discuss this during your first session. Typically, I ask that clients commit to either weekly or every other week sessions. This allows us to develop a working therapeutic relationship and devote the space and time for your inner work. Regular sessions allow me to gather the information needed to make an assessment and provide any recommendations.

What is your rate?

Sessions are $165/session and 50 minutes long. I also offer 90 minute sessions (upon request) at the rate of $250/session. Payment is due at the time of your appointment. I accept credit cards, cash, checks, and HSA/FSA cards.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not participate as an in-network provider with any insurance company at this time. If you are interested in submitting for “out-of-network” benefits with your insurance company, please let me know and we can discuss what this entails.

What’s your cancellation policy?

I ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment you do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time. If you miss a session without cancelling or cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the session fee.

Where are you located?

I offer in-person sessions in Rochester, New York. My office is located in Neighborhood of the Arts. Telehealth appointments are also available to residents of New York and Tennessee.
